Acceptable Use Policy
- Effective:
- Last updated:
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may and may not do with the Worql service operated by Worql, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Worql"). The AUP is part of the Terms of Service. Violating the AUP is a material breach of the Terms and may lead to suspension or termination of your account.
We keep the AUP short and practical because the service is a B2B tool for drafting Statements of Work, not a user-generated-content platform. Most abuse vectors do not exist here.
2. You may not
In connection with your use of the service, you may not:
a. Use Worql for unlawful purposes. Don't use the service to generate, store, or distribute content that violates US, Indian, or other applicable law — including laundering, fraud, sanctions evasion, infringement, defamation, or harassment.
b. Use Worql to evade obligations to others. Don't use the service to draft language whose primary purpose is to defraud counterparties, hide beneficial ownership, evade taxes, or escape liability for prior misconduct.
c. Inject other people's confidential information without authority. Don't paste confidential or personal information into the workspace if you don't have the right to share it with us. You are responsible for the content of project briefs and intake answers.
d. Attack or interfere with the service. Don't probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service except in scope of a coordinated disclosure (see Section 4), and don't attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan gates, authentication, or audit controls. Don't deploy bots, scrapers, or automated clients against the public site, the API, or the clause library.
e. Resell or rebrand the service. Don't expose the Worql workspace, API, or AI outputs as a competing SaaS or consulting deliverable under another brand. White-label arrangements require a separate written agreement.
f. Misuse AI outputs. Don't represent AI outputs as legal advice. Don't use AI outputs in a way that would induce a counterparty to believe they are reviewing language drafted by an attorney. Don't auto-execute, auto-sign, or auto-send Worql outputs to counterparties without human review.
g. Abuse free tier resources. Don't create multiple accounts to circumvent FREE-plan limits. Don't sign up purely to exhaust generation capacity. Repeated free-tier abuse may result in suspension without refund.
h. Use the service to harm Worql or its users. Don't impersonate Worql, its founders, or its users; don't use the service to phish, spear-phish, social-engineer, or otherwise target Worql staff or users.
3. You agree to
- Provide accurate signup information and keep your email up to date.
- Promptly report security vulnerabilities to security@worql.app.
- Respect rate limits and plan caps; upgrade or contact us if you need capacity beyond the AGENCY plan.
- Treat the clause library and AI outputs as drafts that require human legal review before execution.
4. Reporting and coordinated disclosure
- Abuse reports (spam, phishing, harassing or unlawful use of Worql): abuse@worql.app.
- Security reports (vulnerabilities, leaks, exposures): security@worql.app. We acknowledge security reports within two business days. Please do not publicly disclose a vulnerability until we have had a reasonable chance to investigate and respond.
- Legal notices (subpoenas, takedowns, DMCA): legal@worql.app.
5. Enforcement
We may, with or without notice depending on severity:
- Warn you and request you stop the conduct;
- Throttle or temporarily suspend your account;
- Terminate your account and refund any prepaid fees for unused service beyond the date of termination, unless the termination is for fraud-related conduct in which case no refund is due;
- Refer the matter to law enforcement where required by law or where the conduct involves credible threats of harm.
We will not refund fees consumed before suspension where the suspension is the result of your AUP violation.
6. Changes
We will update this AUP from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days before they take effect.
